How I got Started

I wanted to fill my readers into a little bit about me and why I chose to start this blog. I love to craft and do different projects around the house and my passion is in event planning. I even decided last year that I wanted to make a career of being an event planner. I am currently a senior in college and will be graduating in May before continuing on to Graduate school in July. 

I decided to start writing a blog pretty much because I was being hounded by some friends that thought I would be great at it. They assured me it would be a hit and people would love to hear all the projects and tips that I could give on this blog.  So I said ok lets give this a shot and started Something  (New) Newton. 

Something Newton is Something Old, Something Borrowed, (and of course) Something Newton. I will post things that I have done personally and I will have any helpful hints added into each post as well. My goal is to post at least 5 post a month usually geared to towards that specific month. For example December of course will be geared to Christmas from stocking stuffers, to gift ideas, outfits, etc. . . I am very old fashion and have a taste for vintage so you may see a lot of vintage elements in my post; however, this may not always be the case.
