Christmas Photobooth

Looking at doing a photo booth for a Christmas party? Photo Booths can get expensive especially if you rent one from a event company. An if you buy actual photo booth props you are looking at dropping another pretty penny but there are ways to set up a photo booth with all all the cost. 

1. I bought all of my props from the dollar store. I spent roughly $15 for all my props. I through it all into a wooden create I had laying around for people to dig out of. 
1. 2 Santa hats
2. 4 reindeer ears all different colors
3. 1 light up reindeer nose
4. 1 elf hat
5. 2 giant sparkly ornaments
6. 3 tinsel garlands 

At my house I had an old window frame I covered it in left over Christmas lights and plugged it in and used that as a prop as well. 

    2. The backdrop. 

              1. Red table cloth (Dollar store)

              2. Left over ornaments from the trees inside

              3. 2 Trees I had bought to plant out in my front yard for privacy. (These were the most expensive thing but use what you have don't go out and buy anything unless you have to. It also depends on where you are putting it you might need everything I used for the back drop.)

              4. I threw an old rug down to add a little more detail 

An now I have a finished back drop. I hung the red table cloth to hide the side of my house and then used Christmas Ornaments to hang at different levels from the ceiling to add character. Put the rug down in the center of the table cloth for people to stand and then placed the trees on either side. I decorated the trees as well for added decoration. 

I just used my iPad and shot the photos myself at my party but if you have a camera or tripod with a self timer you can make the photo booth were no one has to man it. I personally wanted someone there so no one could delete photos. I then sent them out to everyone's email so they would have their pictures as well. 

My Photo Booth probably cost me about $20 unless you add in the trees I bought for something else and then temporarily use. The thing is to be creative and be and innovator it does not have to be exactly like something you have seen before. You will find what looks good and what you can dig up around the house at no cost. Regardless your friends will have fun and will love the memories that will be captured.
