The Perfect Date
The perfect date? What is this you how ask? How do I plan it? I want to make this special but how?
Unfortunately there is no real answer to what a perfect date is because it is always different per couple. However, there are some things that you can do to make sure the date is perfect between you and your special someone.
To start with you need to look at your common interest. Do not cater to one side of the relationship or the other. Yes! You may want you sweetheart to be over the moon excited but if it is not something you also enjoy doing then it will only be perfect for them. If you both like sports splurge on a game that you both would love to attend. Surprise them with great seats or maybe the tickets themselves. Maybe you are theater junkies and you book reservations for a nice dinner and play after. Even if you don't have the finical means to go out and do things a quite dinner might be a good fit or an evening walk just the two of you.
The key to a perfect date is spending time with the person you love and doing the things that you love to do. Life catches us and holds us in what we should be doing what we need to be doing and in return we lose sight of what we also need to do for ourselves and our partner. Showing your partner you still care or truly know their interest is enough to create that perfect moment.
I have heard one of my friends talk about how their perfect date with their fiance was getting lost on the way to dinner. Running a red light so they got pulled over by a cop who wrote them a ticket. By the time they finally arrived at the restaurant they were late for the reservation and ended up having to wait in the line wrapped outside the doors to try and get another table. While they waited it started to rain. To me and you reading this it sounds miserable and I am sure in some moments it was for them. However, they chose to remember it as a night they laugh about and love because they made those mistakes together while being together all in the effort of having that perfect date.
Everyone wants to put so much pressure on its got to be perfect!!!! (Me included - won't lie I can be a perfectionist at times) However, if you look back some of the greatest moments and memories in your life were not planned out to a tee and may not have been all that grand. It could be as simple as sitting down with a glass of wine or a beer and talking, laughing, kissing, and truly seeing each other and spending time with each other.
See how simple that was! Two rules really 1) Stay unplugged (pictures are great to capture the moment, Facebook, tweets, snaps, internet, cute you tube videos are not great ways to connect with the other person). 2) Do what you both have interest in doing.
THAT'S THE PERFECT RECIPE FOR THE PERFECT DATE!
