Best Friend Shot glasses
Trying to find the perfect gift for your best friend? This is probably the hardest thing to do unless you have their Christmas List right in front of you and you are headed to the store. Me and my best friend are going on nine years of friendship and last year was the first year that we actually did Christmas together and since we are both busy and live in two different places it was actually June before we swapped Christmas.
However, This year we will be in the same place for Christmas and I made her cry last year with my gift so this year we have to do even better. We both like to drink especially when we are able to finally meet up so I thought it would be a cool idea to make her best friend shot glasses.
Materials: You need to buy the type of shot glass that you would like. (I picked mine up at Walmart for a dollar a piece and they are cylinder and a little bit bigger than an actual shot for some extra holiday cheer.) You will also need paint pens of whatever colors that you will like and some type of clear coat spray paint.
Step 1: Is to truly figure out what you want on your actual shot glass or glasses. I choose a quote from one of our favorite TV shows. "You're my Person!" its from Grey's Anatomy for those who did not know.
Step 2: Use the paint pens to write or draw whatever you want on your shot glass. I also decided to put "Since 2007" since that is the year that we started being friends on the bottom of the shot glasses (To do this make sure you write it backwards so that way you can read it from inside of the shot glass.

Step 3: Let it dry for a couple of hours. ( I checked on mine every so often to make sure that I did not have runs of paint)
Step 4: Then after a couple of hours I sprayed them with the clear coat and left them to dry over night.
Once they are dry you are done with them you know have a gift for your Best Friend. I paired it with the last shots we took together but you could also do a favorite shot that y'all have together. I also stuck a personal little card in the gift bag as well just to keep the personal touches going.
Hope this helps you out this Holiday season or for anytime you need that special gift!
